Dick Cheney is reportedly behind John R. Bolton's nomination for Ambassador to the United Nations. Bolton is set to come up for a Senate vote at 6 p.m. today. An issue has arisen over his request for redacted names in NSA intercepts of conversations. At least some of the names were U.S. government officials. He spoke with an associate about it, though the information is not supposed to be shared.
