You've all read about Dick Cheney's statement last weekend that the Iraq insurgency is in its last throes. Contrariwise, overnight I saw a Reuter's story on a classified C.I.A. report that says that the Iraq insurgency is an international threat and that terrorists are being better trained there than they were in Afghanistan during the 1990s. I picked up on this via But, then Cheney still thinks we'll find WMD.
