"Pithy, witty, funny and on top of the news. What blogs are to political commentary, the Daily Scribble is to the editorial cartoon. I keep coming back for more." Joshua Micah Marshall, Talking Points Memo.
"Though Charles Pugsley Fincher would do well to find a stage name, his daily scribbles are nothing to scoff at. Plain and simple, on lined yellow scratch paper, yet they speak volumes." Jacob Wheeler, Utne.com.
According to today's Washington Post, the Iraq Survey Group (ISG) is home, and the hunt for WMD in Iraq is over. No WMD were found plus the inspectors got tired of being shot at. In the Scribble, Bush excitedly brings that up to Cheney. No WMD ... No Prob.
I've added two strips I did for Thadeus & Weez on WMD. In the first, Bush and Cheney concoct new meanings for W.M.D. as a way out of their claims. The other sets out a premise that seemed clear to me, if not to the Bush team: If you have W.M.D. and you're attacked by a far superior military, why on earth would you hide them instead of using them against your enemy.
