I watched Donald Rumsfeld at a press conference two days ago addressing the torture in Iraqi prisons. He did allow that is was abuse, but then he became legalistic on the issue of whether it was torture when a member of the press used the term. He and the rest of the Bushies, together with the prison guards should be forced to read Chekov's "Ward Six," a short story about a psychiatrist who fails to correct a brutal orderly only one day to find himself as an inmate of his own institution with the orderly attacking him. 05.06.04
