By Charles Pugsley Fincher, A Spin-Off of

In their meeting last Thursday at the Vatican, the Pope took George W. Bush to task for the Iraq War. Keep in mind that Bush has said that taking freedom to Iraq his calling from God, there seemed to me a conflict in who it is that is getting the correct communications from heaven -- The Pope or Bush. Since he was there to try to gain Catholic votes, Bush endured the criticism without responding and then awarded the Pope the Medal of Freedom. I'm amused that anyone thinks they can be God's messenger to the rest of us. Strikes me as a bit nutty. 06.07.04
