By Charles Pugsley Fincher, A Spin-Off of

Yesterday, the United Nations unanimously passed the resolution approving sovereignty for Iraq with turn-over of the United States occupation on June 30. George W. Bush gave in and in and then in again to achieve U.N. backing after he couldn't get it otherwise. He went from I demand this and that to whatever you want, he'll go for it. You could say he bent over backwards to get the resolution passed. I'm glad he's trying to do something international absent his usual, pigheaded, stubborn approach. 06.09.04
