By Charles Pugsley Fincher, A Spin-Off of

This is not the Scribble I did for today, but I had on CNN and just learned about the sneak handover of Iraq. So, I wanted to get something up and decided on Iraqity Daqity -- clearly based on Humpty Dumpty -- because of the damaged shape of the Iraq that Bush is handing over.

My original Iraqity Daqity cartoon was done for my newspaper strip, Thadeus & Weez, on May 5, 2003 after the invasion. You can see it by clicking here. Also, there are background notes about what was going on at the time.

I'm for the handover though it's only partial sovereignty for Iraq at this point. The occupation has hurt the U.S. Moreover, I don't want to see another American killed in Iraq. 06.28.04
