The newest campaign ad for George W. Bush was trotted out today. He wraps himself in 9/11 which is not at all admirable. Reminds me of the old saying that wrapping oneself in the flag is the last refuge of a scoundrel. In the campaign commercial, Bush says, "We cannot hesitate..." The seven minutes mentioned in the Scribble is, of course, a reference to the amount of time Bush sat in the classroom listening to kids read "My Pet Goat" after he was told of the Al Qaeda attack on the twin towers. 08.12.04
