Secretary of State Colin Powell was on Meet the Press on Sunday. There he said that he hadn't seen evidence of any involvement in 9/11 by Iraq (see CNN report). Meanwhile, Dick Cheney keeps the rumor alive among about one-half of Americans by continuing to link Al Qaeda and Iraq as the reason for the war. This rumor is to substitute for Bush's original reason that Iraq possessed W.M.D. which it turned out to be totally wrong.
