Today's lead story in the New York Times is about the Bush administration's not applying the Geneva Accords to all prisoners in Iraq even though it said it absolutely was. The lead story in the Washington Post today is that George W. Bush plans to request $70 billion in emergency funding for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, something that will cause sticker-price shock in a Congress not expecting so much.
