Secretary of State Colin Powell resigned, yesterday. There are rumors that he was forced out. Condoleeza Rice will replace him.

Powell and Dick Cheney have had a difficult relationship over the years. I've read that in some meetings they don't speak to each other and that the tension is palpable.

Everyone has a Secretary of State story today. Here's the New York Times version. This isn't the first time Powell and Cheney have gotten physical. They also did so in this earlier Daily Scribble.
