Daily Scribble finishes No. 2 in voting for best Web political cartoon of 2004

"Pithy, witty, funny and on top of the news. What blogs are to political commentary, the Daily Scribble is to the editorial cartoon. I keep coming back for more."  Joshua Micah Marshall, Talking Points Memo.

"Though Charles Pugsley Fincher would do well to find a stage name, his daily scribbles are nothing to scoff at. Plain and simple, on lined yellow scratch paper, yet they speak volumes." Jacob Wheeler,

Scribble runs in the opinion section of Flak Magazine.

e: Note: CARTOON DESCRIPTION: Put the date and brief description of the cartoon here. SIGNATURE: I'll simply sign the print (my signature is illegible, but it's the real one) unless you want a specific inscription. If so, then write it in this area, but limit it to about 10 words as the space for signing and an inscription is small. I'll letter the inscription in all upper case just like the dialogue in the cartoons (so that it's legible).

ORDER CONFIRMATION. I'll confirm receiving your order by E-mail within about a day. If you don't receive confirmation then something is wrong, so E-mail me immediately either at or at Please put "scribble print" in the subject line.

SHIPPING: Shipping will be by U.S. Mail. If you need faster shipping, E-mail me with how you think this could be accomplished -- supplying an overnight account number, paying an additional amount through PayPal, or something else reasonable.

PRINTS NOT FRAMED: These signed prints are not framed, though they are suitable for framing.  I decided to sell them unframed to keep the price of the prints and the shipping low. They are authentic signed prints, but of course, are not the original artwork.

SIZE: The paper size is 8.5 x 11 inches (letter size), and the image size varies like it does with the cartoons on the site.

WHAT YOU GET: The prints are much higher quality than you could print off the site as those are small resolution for screen viewing at 72 dpi. The print you're buying is a much higher resolution at 300 dpi (much crisper). Each print is on glossy photo paper printed with Epson Durabrite ink size 8.5 x 11 inches (letter size) and suitable for framing. However the images of the cartoons on the paper vary in size as they do on the site. The signature is, of course, hand signed by Charles Pugsley Fincher (guaranteed illegible but authentic). The authentic signed prints are not framed and, of course, are not the original artwork.
